Black Hole Creek Watershed


PURPOSE:

1. To encourage the preservation of the natural resources of the Black Hole Creek.
2. To educate the general public and organizations about the natural resources of the watershed and the value of proper stream and watershed management.
3. To conduct monitoring of the natural resources within the boundaries of the Black Hole Creek watershed.
4. To provide information pertaining to the natural resources of the watershed to interested parties and the general public.
5. To implement measures that protect and restore the natural resources of the watershed.
6. To minimize flood damage to the watershed.
7. To seek and secure cooperation and partnership to further the purposes of the watershed Association.

The Black Hole Creek Watershed Committee meets every 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Montgomery Borough Office unless otherwise noted. The public is invited to all meetings and programs.

Black Hole Creek Watershed Board meets bi-monthly the first Tuesday @ 7PM at the Station House It has also partnered with MCWA for their bi-monthly membership meetings on the second Wednesday at 7 PM at the Hughesville Library.
